We kicked off in 2016 with many biofuel activities. In January ABN AMRO joined the KLM Coporate BioFuel Programme and in March KLM launched a new series of biofuel flights from Oslo to Amsterdam, operated by an EMBRAER 190. Furthermore, the Fly Green Fund, a Nordic initiative to promote biofuels in which KLM participates, won the Biofuel Partnership of the Year Award at the World Biofuel Markets conference in Amsterdam. KLM is also happy to see that other airlines such as Air Canada are investing in biofuels. This is key because engagement of all stakeholders, including industry, governments and end-customers is crucial when it comes to bringing the development of sustainable biofuels in the aviation industry to the next level. We are looking forward to another year with many biofuel flights and we are proud to have you on board as our partner in the KLM Corporate BioFuel Programme.
