E-fuel from green hydrogen and CO2
Synkero was launched during the European Conference for Sustainable Aviation Fuel to develop synthetic kerosene and support the movement toward future-proof aviation. This e-fuel will be produced using green hydrogen, a combination of water and renewable energy, and CO2.
The factory will produce 100,000 tonnes of SAF annually. Its location at the Port of Amsterdam allows it to take advantage of an existing kerosene pipeline to Schiphol airport. With this pipeline SAF can be easily transported and used by airlines across this airport.
