Sales Analyst

For our headquarters in Amsterdam, we are looking for a full-time Sales Analyst to support our Sales & Propositions team in achieving commercial goals through direct SAF sales and our growing product portfolio. SkyNRG is a scale-up that works at the forefront of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). SkyNRG has developed into a global leader on SAF, active in countless innovative projects aimed at growing the SAF sector. Scaling a new industry can only be done by working collaboratively with all relevant stakeholders—airlines, airports, technology developers, producers, suppliers, governments, NGOs, and academics. Since 2009, SkyNRG has been building up SAF capacity and production for the industry to meet its 2050 net zero commitment. SkyNRG has supplied SAF to over 40 airlines across the world and is now developing dedicated SAF production facilities to support the transition from fossil jet fuel to sustainable aviation fuel. Job Profile

The Sales & Propositions team is responsible for the commercialization of SAF, and the development, management and growth of SAF products including Board Now and Fly on SAF. We work in close collaboration with our Trading & Supply and Capacity Development teams to ensure our SAF finds an end-user and to grow the SAF market. Our team has a diverse and ambitious customer base across the value chain: airlines, corporates, freight forwarders, travel companies and more. Through these partnerships, we strive to make the aviation industry more sustainable.

We are excited to be adding a Sales Analyst, who will be taking on both a commercial support and an analytical role. Your responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and analyzing market developments – including demand, pricing, and peer developments – to inform our commercial and product strategy.
  • Gaining a thorough understanding of our target customer’s profile and needs, working towards a proactive and data-driven sales approach.
  • Developing and maintaining sales materials in line with product strategy and target customer profile.
  • Take on lead generation activities in close collaboration with Product managers and the Marketing team.
  • Supporting commercial leads in the sales process by drafting proposals for different types of prospects, responding to proposal requests, and tracking proposal progress.
  • Providing solid operational sales coordination, administration, and pipeline management.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of our (sales) processes and product portfolio.

Your profile*

  • Has great interpersonal skills and the ambition to grow further into a commercial role.
  • Has strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to tailor processes and systems to changing needs.
  • Is a strategic thinker with the ability to understand and explain complex products and customer needs.
  • Has a degree (university level) and background in a relevant field, e.g. economics, finance, natural sciences, sustainability.
  • Has ~3 years work experience with an emphasis on consultative sales, deal-making and/or market analysis.
  • Is fluent in English (written and verbal).

  • Is preferably based in the Netherlands.
