SkyNRG Delfzijl (DSL-01)

Europe’s first facility dedicated to the production of sustainable aviation fuel.

100,000 tonnes of SAF

In May 2019, we announced that we were building Europe’s first facility dedicated to the production of sustainable aviation fuel. With the support of many partners, including KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and SHV Energy, the facility will open in Delfzijl and will produce 100,000 tonnes of SAF every year. In addition, it will produce 35,000 tonnes of sustainable by-products, such as LPG and naphtha, resulting in an 85% reduction in CO2 compared to traditional fossil jet fuel.

Thinking sustainably every step of the way

SkyNRG is committed to creating a self-sustaining network of regional supply chains, called direct supply lines (DSLs). This means every business decision will be made with the environmental impact in mind. Each DSL will be monitored by our Sustainability Board to meet the highest of standards.

Let’s talk about SAF
