SKYNRG ANNOUNCES 10-YEAR PARTNERSHIP WITH BANK OF AMERICA
- Bank of America has become the latest member of SkyNRG’s Board Now program, with a 10-year partnership
- The partnership is yet another important step in creating future SAF production capacity, as well as supporting the growth of the SAF market
Amsterdam, February 11th, 2022 – SkyNRG announced today a partnership with Bank of America, which is joining SkyNRG’s innovative Board Now program. The global financial services firm has made an industry-leading 10-year commitment, which will help to enable growth and increased capacity in the development of the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) market.
The partnership demonstrates how corporations can take action to reduce their employee business travel emissions. In order to tackle these emissions, corporations can commit to covering the green premium, which is the price difference between fossil kerosene and SAF. To address growing market demand, commitments like these are vital, as they pave the way for the development of future supply lines globally, such as SkyNRG’s upcoming Direct Supply Line 1 (DSL-01).
Board Now is the only corporate SAF program that enables new production capacity. With this partnership, Bank of America joins companies like Microsoft, Skyscanner, Boston Consulting Group, PwC, and others as a Board Now program Leader – which is the highest membership level of the program.
