SkyNRG’s operations are certified against the sustainability requirements of the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB) for the scopes of RSB EU RED, RSB CORSIA, and RSB Book & Claim Certification. These certifications demonstrate our alignment with the most rigorous and trusted sustainability system in the bioeconomy, providing confidence to our customers, partners, and the broader market.
As a not-for-profit membership organisation, RSB is globally recognised for its uniquely credible and science-based approach to advancing sustainability in the bioeconomy. Its comprehensive framework – built on 12 principles that go beyond carbon to cover biodiversity, water, soil health, human rights, and livelihoods – is backed by full recognition under ICAO’s CORSIA programme and the EU Renewable Energy Directive (EU RED). What sets RSB apart is not just the strength of its standards but also how they are governed and implemented. As a multi-stakeholder membership community, RSB brings together industry, civil society, academia, and government to co-create its standards, with all voices having equal weight in decision-making. SkyNRG is active in RSB’s standard development and governance processes, contributing to the RSB Annual Conference, several membership platforms, and the RSB’s Assembly of Delegates – the highest decision-making body of RSB.
